Dan Goldman is in house legal counsel at Mayo Clinic, one of the world’s largest private healthcare providers, employing over 40,000 people at facilities in Minnesota, Arizona, Florida, and Wisconsin. 

Dan is the legal advisor for Mayo Clinic’s industry-leading social medial efforts, and a member of the advisory board for the Mayo Clinic Center for Social Media. Dan is also a frequent speaker on social media legal issues at national conferences. In addition to his work on social media legal issues, Dan also leads the Mayo Clinic Legal Department’s Commercial Transactions and Privacy Specialty Teams.

Dan is a graduate of UCLA and the University of Virginia School of law. Prior to joining Mayo Clinic in 2001, Dan was in private practice in Chicago. In his spare time, Dan and his family are avid travelers having visited over 40 countries on six continents.
